This Achilles Shield necklace is a fabulous statement piece and is handcrafted in our London studio through the process of lost wax casting. It measures 4cm x 3.3cm and is made from 18 carat gold plated solid Sterling silver. The plating is an extra thick coating of 3 microns of gold to ensure durability and long lasting wear. It hangs from a 48cm intricate gold filled chain. The pendant would also look good hanging from a long chain.

The shield was created for the greatest Greek warrior, Achilles by the God Hephaestus to give him power and protection in the battle against Hector. It depicts the story of creation and all of life through the lens of Greek mythology. Deborah has created a piece that is battle scarred but intact, a necklace to bring you strength and courage.
